(Source: Yahoo Answers) .The easiest way to add your friends is to open up the friends console (look for the icon of a figure with a "0" beside it) and select "Add Friends...". Then select the option to add friends through facebook and all your fb friends who are on SC2 on the same email will be added.

You can also add people with their email, but you need their "character code"

You can also add anyone you meet. Right click their name or profile pic and add them.

Find your friend console first though. Look for the man and the "0" and it'll all make sense to you =) It should be somewhere in the bottom left section of your screen.
