How many Assassin's Creed games are meant to be made?

I think I heard that the initial plan was to make a trilogy, but I'm sure they're going to make them until the end of time if they are still profitable.

  1. I think Ubisoft might be regretting that they didn't take advantage of Altair's popularity and don't plan to make that same mistake with Ezio. Thus, we get AC: Brotherhood. The full third game will probably introduce us to our final Assassin and include a polished MP mode, so I'll say we're getting at least four, if not five, console versions.

    Assasins Creed 3 will problably come out in 2012, becuase Ubisoft anouneced that they will take a short break after Brotherhood.
