Which new guitar is recommended for Rock Band 3's Pro Mode?
What would be better for using Rock Band 3's Pro Mode: The new Fender Mustang guitar with buttons along the neck or the new Squier Stratocaster that uses actual strings?

It really comes down to your personal preference. Both are going to be way more intense than the original. I would trust the one with buttons more...but if you want to start playing guitar and don't already have one I would get the one that doubles as a real guitar.
