Does the Diablo easter egg in the devil's playground need to be killed in Starcraft II?
I can see it in the corner of my map. Is he just meant to be left alone or killed to collect something?

I think they're just meant to be "found", like the the level 80 Elite Tauren Marine...if there's some bigger easter egg by finding all of them...I'm not really sure.
