What do you think of the new "Game Flow" feature to Madden 11?

I think it accomplishes what I EA set out to do which is dumb down football for casual gamers and cut the game time down. To me, a lot of the fun of Madden is the strategy involved in picking out the right play for the given situation, especially in PvP. Gameflow throws that out the window. Plus, defensively, its all about knowing each players responsibilities. Using GameFlow, you don't have enough time to assess which defense was called. I will admit that having the coach yell at you for giving up a 7 yard run on 1st down is pretty rad.

  1. I have been playing a little bit of both....I use it most of the time, but occasionally I call my plays. For the most part I think GameFlow makes good play calls for you, but there are certain situations that I want total control of what is going to happen. You can always call an audible too...
