I use the shotgun a lot because it hits twice in one turn. If I happen to be above my opponents worms and can hit multiple worms, I use the shotgun. This usually leads an opponent to keep on moving worms to that area to try and kill you....before you know it they are all huddled up and easy to kill. Try using mines in such a way that when an opponent is hit into one, he ends up getting bounced around into others as well. Don't forget to try and make your opponents worms land in water, that or push them off the edge of the screen, either way they die.
