Is Halo Reach almost here before we knew it?

Halo Reach comes out in just days now. And for me, it feels like it's coming from no where. Do you feel the same? And if so, do you like it this way, or do you like launch dates later in the year, like Call of Duty?

I get that vibe too and it's because it feels like the marketing push isn't there like it was for Halo 3 or for ODST. Doesn't help that it's also being overshadowed by a lot of other high-profile titles that are hitting soon like Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood, CoD: Black Ops, and Dead Rising 2.

  1. The sooner the better I guess. It's probably the right time, since it's coming out a few months before Call of Duty, so it'll have some time to dominate the FPS market before it's biggest competition arrives.

    I'd actually like to see what would happen if a Halo game and a Call of Duty game were to release within the same week. It'd be like an unstoppable force vs. an unmovable object.

  2. I haven't been marking the calendar and checking the weekly updates from Bungie like I used to so it has definitely crept up on me. For the last ones I would read every bit of information about it and check Bungie's website daily haha. I'm definitely going to get excited about Reach though.
    I hope it's good enough to make me relapse back into my Halo addiction.
