Do you buy extra controllers based on price or based on quality?
A lot of people need controllers and some just buy the cheapest ones because of money issues. Some just buy them because it's quality. I had to make a decision on whether to buy 1 Tournament Edition SF4 Fightstick or buy 2 regular edition Fight Sticks, I ended up buying the latter because I like playing SF with friends (not online). On the flip side, I almost never buy the cheap third-party controllers because they are just bad quality. What about you? What are your requirements for buying extra hardware?

nearly always buy official. buying cheap is pointless as it NEVER feels right.
..EVER!!
BUT, the new Razer 360 controller is freaking epic, and if it was wireless I would snatch one up in a heart beat.

I bought a cheap PS2 controller back in the day, and the analog sticks wore down to the point of uselessness within a few months. Ever since I always buy official product. Might be more expensive, but at least I know it'll work.

If there is a first party accessory or controller, i will buy that over a third party accessory or controller. I only ever buy 3rd party accessories if the 1st party doesn't make that accessory (ex. PS3 Slim Stand that adds 3 USB ports, Modern Warfare 2 controller)
I always end up selling 3rd party stuff and buying the 1st party things when i get the money anyways, so why not save up in the first place?
