When a game comes out on PS3 and Xbox 360, which version do you buy/play?
And what factors help you make your decision?
Best Answer
If it has multiplayer I always go 360. Almost all of my friends have a 360, but few have a PS3. Otherwise, I generally decide based on whether the PS3 version has a big advantage over 360. I got FFXIII on PS3 because it looks a lot better. I'll be getting Dead Space 2 on PS3 because of the Dead Space: Extraction that comes in the PS3 exclusive collector's edition. Otherwise I'll go 360.

I always go 360>PS3 if there is any kind of multiplayer/on-line component. Other than that, it really is a tie between the two systems. Probably just boils down to controller preference.

I usually get the 360 version of a game, unless it is a PS3 exclusive. I just like the 360 controllers way more...

If it's Call of Duty, i like to get it on PS3. I don't know why, but CoD is way more fun on PS3 (For me). But i don't get all Shooters on PS3 (Halo obviously).
Music games i buy for Xbox because i have all of my instruments on 360. And for just about every other game, i'm on the fence. Usually the exclusive content wins out.

I always get games for PS3, because I don't own a 360 and don't care to.

The 360 controller feels so much more intuitive, so I always grab the 360 version whenever possible. A PS3 has greater exclusive titles, but when given a choice, I learn towards 360.

I always buy my games on the ps3 unless it is an xbox or a wii exclusive the only reason that i buy for ps3 is i like the single player better on the ps3 than the xboxs because it can be very interactive.
