With Kinect, will the old Xbox 360 webcam be useless?

I have one and i was wondering if i should sell my webcam for my Xbox. Or will there be any reason to keep my old webcam?

ooh... that is a good question. I would imagine that older games that require a webcam could just use the one built into the Kinect.. but who knows. logically, it makes total sense. I have to go snoop now. I'm interested.

  1. Since Kinect has built in video chat and such, I'm guessing it'll completely replace the Xbox Live Vision Cam.

    i mean they give you everything needed in the pack, including a web cam.
    so im guessing that will make the old one quite obselete. but to be safe i suggest just keep it, and wait. peace
