Worst Game ending Ever?
I would say Quake, where your hard work for completing the game is rewarded with a "thanks for playing" basically.
What are your worst, endings.. the kind where you feel you went through all that for nothing!

Arkista's Ring, NES. 125 levels of repeating, grinding, hellishly Nintendo Hard top-down Legend of Zelda-like gameplay that 9-year-old me played for two days (left my system on overnight) determined to beat the game this time, DETERMINED. Finally, I did it, I beat the Shogun on the 125th map...
Black screen. Three lines of white text.
YOU SAVED THE KINGDOM
CONGRATULATIONS
THANK YOU FOR PLAYING

I thought Halo 2 had a pretty bad ending. But they recouped from Halo 3.

God of War 2 was pretty damn anti-climactic. Left me wanting more. I thought there was going to be more, then the credits started.

Gears of War 2....I wanted some epic boss battle at the end, kinda how GoW was so amazing, awesome story and epic fight at the end. No I get a hammer of dawn and a big berserker to kill yay...and I seriously was expecting to play more into the game also but no that's when it ended. I felt sorry for my room mate cause I was complaining to her the entire time and she doesn't play games at all haha.

Well virtually all old games' endings were pants so let's not shoot fish in a barrel.. recently I'd say Silent Hill: Homecoming. Sure there's multiple endings, but the one I got after slogging through this poor excuse for a game was over in seconds and left me with a screen saying "you've unlocked X outfit". Ugh! Ugh! Must wash hands..

The ending to Metroid Prime is awful if you don't get 100 percent of the scans in the game. After the boss battle Samus just hops on her ship and flies away as the credits roll. So disappointing.

Virtua Fighter 2 is pretty dissatisfying to beat with any character. It was definitely more about the journey than the destination.
