Is it bad to keep your games in your console when it's off?
I know some people who say it is bad. I personally don't really worry about it. But when my discs are out of the console, they are in the case without a doubt. What do you think? Is it bad to keep your games in your console?

no, there is no danger in it at all. the ONLY time it becomes an issue is if you are transporting the system with a disc in it. if the disc jumps out of the tray and you turn it back on, there is a chance it can hurt both the console and the disc.
that is the only way I can see it being a bad thing.

Who says it's bad? It's keeping the discs OUT of the console that make it dangerous for the disc.
What happens if the disc stays in the console too long? Do dust mites come in and figure skate on the underside of the disc? Really.

Well in my opinion i think that the discs are made for the disc drive will it effect the game it self.. No it wont i think that is better to keep it in the drive so that it isn't going to break because i don't know about you i don't think that i am going to trust that plastic. i actually bought a case for games. So i will leave it at that.

as for me, i dont think it damages them in anyway, but i'm a real freak about it , i mak sure people put my discs in the right covers. i inspect and clean them frequently to make sure there is no damage.
so i dont think that it will damage 'embut i prefer not to leave them in. peace- 0

No. It keeps them protected while they're in there. They're not spinning or anything, so they should be fine.
