What is the best console on the market?

Out of the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 or the Wii. Which of those consoles do you think has the best price for the quality of the item..

If you asked this in 2007, i would say Xbox 360 without a doubt. But now that PS3 has gotten to a very reasonable price, i don't exactly think that.

PS3 has become a great console in the last year or so, and while there are some things that are still missing for some reason (Party chat), it is still amazing. Xbox 360 is still a great value, and i still think it's an amazing console. I think the price for the 360 should go down a bit, but in general, pretty good.

That leaves Wii. And i might not be the right person to ask about the Wii. I don't like the Wii. Besides the exclusive games, it is just a boring console. And i expected another price decrease, but there hasn't been one yet. So which is the best? I'd say it's a battle between Xbox 360 and PS3.

  1. Its very debatable, Xbox 360 I think has a better assortment of games, but PS3 looks a little cleaner and has blue-ray player......people who have Xbox360 will say that, people who have PS3 will pick theirs.....you really cant go wrong in my opinion.

  2. This is almost flamebait... if it where any other site. but we seem to have some level headed guys here.

    I have all the systems, soo.... in terms of picture quality?. depends on which games you are playing. All of the early multi-platform games played and looked better on the 360. Today though, it's pretty level now. if we take into account 1st party exclusive games. (Gears of War, God of War, Uncharted.) The Ps3 edges out the 360.. not by much, but it does.

    In terms of overall usability, function, enjoyment... I gotta give it to 360, barely again. 360 online integration is far better. And they're are more players playing online games on Live than PSN. BUT, the Ps3 does media streaming better, and just media in general. from DVD's to Blurays.

    So, overall, the 360 is still slightly better, in my opinion.

    I didn't mention the Wii at all because... come on. it's sad how little I use it. it was the system I was most excited for too.

  3. As far a design and power goes, I think PS3 is the best, but the 360 offers the best services and until recently a wider variety of games. Though I think the variety of games on each recently are about even.

  4. Well to me it will have to be Xbox 360...Whats better about the xbox? Games,servers,kinect,xbox live.Whats worse?Price for console and xbox live.Whats better for ps3,Good price,free psh,blue ray player Whats bad? undedicated servers,"move" technicly its just a stick with a light bulb on it...................So it all boils down to in my opinion XBOX 360
