What can Nintendo do to bring the Wii back from a failure against Move?

The way i think about it is that with Move out now, the Wii is going to have a lot of trouble. There are some ways that Nintendo can extend the life of the Wii. Or they could just give us a new console, and close the Wii up altogether. What do you think Nintendo can and will do?

I actually don't think the Wii will change much or see too huge a loss in sales to Move. Right now, it seems like Wii's biggest market cares more about simplicity and a cheaper console/games than they do HD graphics or even more accurate motion control. As it stands the Wii is still the cheaper console, and with the PS3 even after the console purchase you need to spend an additional $130-150 to get the Move up and running (assuming you don't already have any of the components, this is counting buying the Sports Champions bundle plus a nav controller or a second move controller). With this pricing, I see the Move selling more to the hardcore gamer that wants to get the whole family involved, rather than to the casual gamers that might not know the more in-depth details of the game industry.

  1. well the wii, and nintendo sorta has different games in comparison to other consoles, now i believe that theyre going to have fierce competition with move out. and i would definetly like to see nintendo bring another console out, but bottom line is for nintendo fans the wii is still a GOOD console, its not great, but good.

i think they should still be working on somethin new though, thats it ,

    peace.

  2. Well i have a few things that they can do first fix their crappy graphics and make the games so that all ages will want to play them. meaning the teenage population that provides the sales for most games on the market but that is just what i think that they should do. Will they do it i highly doubt they will because the wii is kindof a lost cause in some peoples eyes.
