what exactly is bioshock infinite?
im a bit confused as to what it is initially i thought it was a third installment of the bioshock franchise, but i read somewhere(cant eactly remember what it said) that it wasnt so.. just to clarify

It's essentially a new series in the Bioshock franchise. It doesn't have Big Daddies or Little Sisters from what I've seen (though that doesn't necessarily mean something similar might not be there), and it takes place in a completely new setting, but the overall gameplay is likely to bear some similarities. Bioshock Infinite takes place in the city of Columbia, a floating city held up on the backs of steampunk-style airships.
