How do I beat the Scorpion in the second 2099 level?

I've had a lot of trouble with the second Scorpion battle in Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions. Not only does the Scorpion hit you hard and send a bunch of mini-scorpions after you, but he fills the center area with acid. So how do I win this fight?

Keep playing it man you will soon defeat him just remember when ever i beat something that i did by my self i always felt accomplished so keep trying you will soon thrive that feeling.
