Plastation Move or Xbox Kinect?

What do you think that is better for actual gaming.

It kind of depends on the genre it's working for. I can't think of a way that Kinect could work with a FPS game. I don't think that would be possible with Kinect. But Move also has downsides. Move can't detect your entire body, which is something Kinect can do.

Which one is better for actual gaming? It kind of depends on what game, because i don't think either products can do everything. I think both are pretty close to equally matched.

  1. That is a tough question because it is really up to the developers to figure out how to make use of the new peripherals. I think that Kinect has more potential to be a great peripheral for gaming and all the other things that it can do, but if developers don't find a way to make the controls easy to understand and make sure they work...it will end up failing.

  2. it really all boils down to the developer. personally, I think the Kinect is more interesting. Move, in my mind, is Wii Too (Wii2).

    But, The Kinect is going to be pretty limited in it's abilities, as far as I can tell. of course, the developers could bust out something amazing, who knows.
