Jeez...there are so many. Off the top of my head I'd say Earthbound, Chrono Trigger, or Super Mario RPG. My reason? They're all impressive RPGs that were influential to the gaming populace in different ways. They're classics, and it's no wonder so many people share the same positive opinions about them.

  1. Holy crap there are so many. It's really close between Super Metroid and A Link to the Past...but I'm gonna have to go with Zelda. That game is just perfect, it works on every level. The dungeons are complex, the bosses are challenging, the music is so memorable, I could go on. I've played A Link to the Past probably 5 or 6 times and I could play it again and it still wouldn't be old. I even think A Link to the Past is better than Ocarina of Time...but that's just me.

  2. Final Fantasy 3(us title) and Romance of the Three Kingdoms 2. I know I spent alot of my time back in the day playing those 2 games...... Good times. Honorable mention to the system pack-in Super Mario World. Still stands up as a wonderful platformer.

  3. My favorite game of all time which just happens to be a SNES game: Chrono Trigger! Fantastic story, music, and gameplay. FF6 is a close second for the exact same reasons.

  5. Super Metroid. Super Metroid was one of the first games I played, it was excellent looking at the time, my dad and brother had both played it and loved it, and the final boss scene where Samus gets super charged from the Metroid hatchling holds a dear place in my heart.

  6. I have two favorite SNES games: Super Mario RPG and Breath of Fire.
Super Mario RPG was amazing just for the fact one it was Mario in an RPG which is mind blowing and two it had a great story line. The gameplay was fun, never got tired of it and the music was super catchy, and all the characters were easy to fall in love with.
Breath of Fire is amazing because I love the story line and music for it as well. There was just so much in it for me to enjoy that I could play it for hours, beat it and want to play it again. It was actually my first game to make me tear up, probably why it's so memorable for me.
