What do you want to see the most in Elder Scrolls V?
We all know it's inevitable so what changes do you want to see?
Best Answer
Online Co-op, better variety of environments, and enemies that don't level with you, so that you have to level up before you can venture far into some dungeons.

Some more leeway in weapons, or the ability to craft them. Oblivion's 1-2-3 system is very stilted (IE dwarven is +1 to this, Elven is +2 to the same).

Multiplayer functionality. Even if its just co-op for the story, let me and a friend tackle this awesome world together and to keep the diffuculty in scale tweak the AI to balance and throw more enemies at us.

A Pegasus so you can fly around. Pegasus armor purchase optional.

They need to bring back the ability to fly. In Morrowind, you could enchant a weapon or armor with a Levitate spell and you could, in effect, fly. It was a huge disappointment to learn they stopped this in Oblivion. Also they need to update the horse armor, I want to be able to make my horse a living, breathing death machine. Online Co-op would be nice too, I suppose.

Honestly, I love the game, but they really need to put in some more varied environments. I know they have a limited amount of space to work with, but they need some varied textures in the dungeons, rather than just choice of either brown cave walls or ruined fortress/temple walls. Fallout 3 was a little better about this, so I hope they continue to improve.

An improved battle system, hacking your sword around and especially hitting your specials attacks was neither exciting nor fun. Better scripts and dialogue, character speeches are functional, but lack creativity and tend to by dry and bland. Most of all though, I want better AI, there's nothing that breaks the illusion more than when a NPC acts totally out of character. Like if you screwed someone on a mission and they are angry at you in town, but when you walk by them they say hello to you in a chipper mood, they need to fix that.

Morrowind, Oblivion, and Fallout 3 are some of the best PC games you can hope for, but their greatest strength is also their greatest weakness. I want for Bethesda to go and take a long hard look at the way mods interact and apply to the game, and then kill - dead - crap like ArchiveInvalidated and loading mods in date order - these are both stupid workarounds that could've been - SHOULD'VE been controllable in the .esp/.esm managers. Whatever the storyline ends up being will be awesome (as long as they don't rush it), I don't care about that, but they need to improve the mod system even more. This is their big selling point, and as someone who uses 200+ Oblivion mods it's a horrific endeavor. I also want them to go back to the Morrowind Khajiti/Argonian bodies. The Oblivion ones were STUPID. Or at least give us sub-races. Northern Orks, Suthay-Raht, the other Argonian race I can't remember.. Also. Fix the battle system. It's fun, but it needs more work. And for God's sake, give us the depth of Morrowind!
