What's your favourite videogame music of all time?
It'd have to be Toejam & Earl for me, closely followed by de Blob and Dune II: The Battle for Arrakis.

Well, composer wise... Nobuo Uematsu is my favorite artist in the ways of music for games... I'd buy a game solely for his music. They writhe in emotion and really add to the story and moments of the game. Even now when I hear Aeris' theme I get emotional...

I would say Zelda, or Final Fantasy. When I hear anything from those franchises, it brings back beautiful memories.

Aside from Nobuo Uematsu's obvious genius, I'd have to say the music from the Silent Hill games. Composer Akira Yamaoka does the series justice with his beautiful yet eerie soundtrack. He is even continuing to do music for the franchise despite the fact that the games are now being made by a new company.

Almost any of the kirby themes. Checkered Knights, Gourmet Race, Dedede' theme, Metaknight's revenge, Butter Building, Kirby 64 boss theme, ... the list goes on and on.

I always loved the music to the early Tomb Raider games but my favorite music has to be the soundtrack to Bioshock.
Bioshock 2 is almost here and.......
When asked specifically about the soundtrack or mood of the music being retained, the response from 2K Marin was quite positive in that regard.
"The same composer [Garry Schyman] is doing the score, and we’re still figuring out our license and music situation, but it’s going to be all period [1940s] music," developer Hogarth de la Plante said.
"It’s a super important part of the to the BioShock 'soundscape'," developer Zak McClendon quickly added.
Even though BioShock 2 takes place roughly eight years after the original, there’s a reason the music will stay the same -- Rapture is in a bubble ... literally.
"Rapture is a time capsule so even though there’s been a few more years, you’re still hearing the old pretty haunting stuff," developer J.P. LeBreton said. "We’re just looking for a wider variety of it."
