Each rung differs from the next by exactly one letter. The top and bottom words answer the final clue.
How to solve Crossclimb #824
Type an answer for each clue; the middle rungs are shown in a scrambled order. Once all the middle words are filled, drag them into an order where every neighbouring pair differs by exactly one letter. The top and bottom rungs then unlock with a single clue describing both words, each one letter away from the rung next to it.

Crossclimb tips for tomorrow
- Solve the easy clues first. Even two or three confirmed words show you what letters the ladder changes, which makes the harder clues easier.
- Find the chain, not the order. Pair up words that differ by one letter. The ladder usually has only one valid sequence.
- The ends share a theme. The top and bottom words are linked by one clue, often a pair like JACK and KING or BEEF and PORK.
