What is Framed?

Framed is a daily movie-guessing game. You are shown a single still from a film and have six guesses to name it; each wrong guess reveals another frame, usually more recognisable than the last. The game launched in March 2022 and numbers its puzzles daily.

Frames are chosen to start obscure and end obvious, so a good solver names the film from a background detail or a colour palette alone.

How to play Framed

Look at the first frame and type a film title; the search box suggests matches. A wrong guess unlocks the next frame. Six frames in total, and the answer is revealed if you miss them all.

When does the new Framed come out?

A new Framed unlocks at midnight in your local time zone. We publish hints and answers as soon as the puzzle is available and keep every previous day in the archive above.
